Sins of the Past

The premier episode that started it all. After vowing to change her evil ways, Xena decides to head back to her village, but first she must face off against an immoral warlord who's determined to keep her on the wrong side of the law. While doing so, she meets Gabrielle.

Chariots of War

Xena comes across a village that is under attack by an evil warlord, Cycnus and his son. She saves a little boy and is injured in the process.

Dreamworker

Xena must enter a dreamscape after Gabrielle is kidnapped by mystis. She must face hauntings from her past in order to keep Gabrielle from being married to Morpheus.

Cradle of Hope

Xena protects a newborn infant from being killed because of a prophecy.

The Path Not Taken

Xena plans to rescue a kidnapped princess in order to stop a war. While doing so, she meets up with some old mercenaries, and with one of her first loves, Marcus.

The Reckoning

In an attempt to make Xena go back to her former life of evil, Ares God of War sets a trap for her.

The Titans

After Gabrielle unknowingly releases three Titans from their imprisonment in stone, Xena must save an entire village.

Prometheus

In the first Xena/Hercules cross-over episode, Hercules and Iolaus team up with Xena and Gabrielle to free Prometheus. He has been bound and the gifts that he gave to man are going away. There is only one problem. The person who breaks the chains with the sword to free the Titan will turn to ashes.

Death In Chains

Xena must rescue Death herself, Celesta(Hades' sister) from King Sisyphus or else all of mankind is doomed to live forever in suffering. Gabrielle meets and loses the first of one of her "red-shirt" loves.

Hooves and Harlots

Xena must figure out who killed the Amazon Princess Terreis to stop a war between the Amazons and the Centaurs. Gabrielle becomes an Amazon Princess in this episode, the episode where we meet Ephiny.

The Black Wolf

Xena gets herself arrested to help a group of rebels who follow a secret leader called The Black Wolf. Salmoneus makes his first appearance on the show.

Beware Greeks Bearing Gifts

Helen of Troy summons Xena to help end the ten-year-long battle between the Greeks and Trojans. Gabrielle is shortly reunited with her former fiancee Perdicus.

Athens City Academy of the Performing Bards

Gabrielle goes to audition for a spot at the academy. She helps Homer, the hopeful poet, regain confidence for storytelling. This is the first season 1 clip show.

A Fistful of Dinars

Xena searches for a lost treasure, including Ambrosia, food of the gods, to try to keep it from getting into the wrong hands.

Warrior...Princess

Because she looks so much like King Lias' daughter, Xena is asked to pretend to be her in order to bring down a group of wanna-be assassins.

Mortal Beloved

Xena's beloved Marcus calls her to the Underworld to help defeat a madman that has stolen Hades' Helmet of Invisibility.

A Royal Couple of Thieves

Xena and Gabrielle call upon Autolycus, the King of Thieves, to help retrieve a priceless chest with a weapon of awesome power.

The Prodigal

A homesick Gabrielle returns to Potadeia and joins forces with Meleager to save it from the ruthless Damon.

Altared States

Xena and Gabrielle intervene to save a young man, Icus, from being sacrificed by his father. Karl Urban makes his first appearance.

The Ties That Bind

In another attempt to get Xena to lead his army, Ares disguises himself as Atrius, Xena's father.

The Greater Good

After being hit by a poisoned dart, Xena is incapable of saving Salmoneus from Talmadeus. Gabrielle must disguise herself as the warrior princess in order to save their friend.

Callisto

Xena must battle the fierce warrior woman, Callisto, who wants revenge for the death of her family. We first meet Joxer in this episode.

Death Mask

Xena is reunited with her brother, Toris. They team up to bring down Cortese, the man who raided their village and destroyed it years before.

Is There A Doctor In The House?

Xena forces the war between the Mitoans and the Thessalians, using her medical knowledge to save many lives, including Gabrielle's. There is a beautiful, emotional scene where Xena is recussitating Gabrielle. Xena also delivers Ephiny's centaur baby boy.
